Book launch: Hearing Maud

Dr Jessica White, UQ Amplify Fellow in Literary Studies and Creative Writing, will launch her third book, Hearing Maud, at Avid Reader Bookstore.  Fifteen years in the making, this hybrid memoir weaves Jessica's experiences of deafness together with those of Maud Praed, the deaf daughter of 19th century Queensland novelist Rosa Praed.
